The Jenner’s sign divorce papers

According to studies, divorce is steadily increasing in the United States, including Arkansas. The end of a marriage can indeed be difficult for everyone, including celebrity couples. There are many issues to address, including child custody, property division and spousal support. There may be a brighter side to the story, too, by spelling the end of negative emotions, such as bitterness and animosity, and holding the promise of a brighter future. A couple can look forward to moving on, in terms of career and future positive relationship opportunities, as well.

In a recent divorce development, Kris and Bruce Jenner have inked the ending of their marriage. The split has now become official. However, the couple will not divorce officially until March 2015, due to legal requirements. The agreement provides that Kris will pay Bruce $2.5 million to even out the split of marital assets.

According to the divorce agreement, the couple will also split various other holdings but custody of their teenage daughter will be jointly held. Nonetheless, neither will be required to pay child support. Kris had filed the divorce papers three months ago, citing irreconcilable differences, but the separation date was officially listed as June 2013.

Also, in the agreement, Kris keeps the family home, as well as her three luxury cars, including a Rolls Royce, Bentley, and Land Rover. Bruce, on the other hand, will move out of the family home and keep his three cars, including his Porsche, Cadillac and a Harley Davidson motorbike.

In any divorce, whether a celebrity duo or ordinary Arkansas couple, many important issues are at stake, including property division, child custody, spousal support and the like. Therefore, it may be a wise decision for Arkansas couples to consult an attorney when complicated divorce-related issues need to be resolved in a timely and peaceable manner.
